Ottogi Snack Ramen -- Reviewed

Tonight's late night snacking with Ottogi's Snack Ramen. I was looking for a quick bite and saw this package in my pantry. It was even more enticing when the packing said it only takes 2 minutes to completely cook! Off I go with my pot of boiling water. Noodles and soup base in for 1 min then flip for another minute. At the end of 2 mins I gave it a quick stir and into my bowl.

Now for the taste test. It smelled and looks delicious, a typical Korean red spice soup base, initially the flavors was just a mild down version of Shin Ramyun. And the noodles felt maybe too al dente, thinking it may need another 30 secs to a 1 minute to completely cook through.

My surprising finding. As I slowly consume the soup more intense flavor develop as it cools and the texture of the noodles was becoming more fully cook as it sat in the hot broth. My recommendation here is to cook for 2 minutes and let it rest for 1 to 2 minutes for a excellent bowl of Ottogi Snack Ramen.

Shin Ramyun -- Reviewed

"This is my goto ramen when I'm looking for a filling meal balanced with flavorful spice with decent quantity. Because I have indulged with this particular brand and flavor much throughout my college career, it has become my standard when I venture off to taste other tasty treats. I usually have a couple packs hidden in the pantry for emergency hunger fixes."
